Shot lists are used to keep in organized and in order as the wedding day progresses. As a seasoned wedding professional we have curated our own unique wedding photography shot list. Our wedding photography shot list is unique to our brand and our most-loved photographs by our Wedding Photography clients. The shot list includes some ‘must-haves’ incorporating a creative conception of the wedding day vision by New Jersey Wedding Photographer, Michelle Behre. Below we have some frequently asked questions that we address for brides-to-be.
After ten years of photographing weddings, Michelle has found what has worked to provide her clients with a superior photography and wedding day experience. So with her knowledge at the forefront working with real brides she has found working off ‘a list’ interferes with moments as they unfold. It is our goal for the day to flow organically and naturally and is only appropriate while photographing formals to capture the authentic documentary and photojournalistic moments of the day as they naturally unfold. Rather than your day feeling as though it is a checklist, we want for the moments to be occurring naturally. We want for you to soak in every moment as it comes and to move through each step authentically. With that being said, we would refrain from the moments feeling forced or unnatural as though they are compiled from such list. Her approach will achieve consistent series of images throughout her portfolio of the timeless moments as they naturally unfold and romantic portraits.

How do you achieve consistent Wedding Photos from wedding to wedding?
Wedding Photographer, Michelle Behre Photography works within her series consistent images she captures throughout the day for her couples. After years of experience, we capture the authentic images and workflow through the day with moments captured leading up to each event as planned and thoughtfully curated for each bride-to-be that steps in front of her lens.

What moments to do you capture in your Wedding Photography?
As we photograph the wedding, we are there through each step of the way from the wedding welcome party, from the moments the bride is having her makeup and hair finishing touches up until the grand exit to the day-after party … We capture the authentic moments as they unfold. A few of our favorite moments include the timeless bridal portraits such as timeless and classic moments as the bride steps into her gown, moments as the groom gets in his tux, beautiful bridal portraits, handsome groom portraits, to first dance .. so many more.

Are there times in the day you may use a list?
Throughout the day we follow the Wedding Photography Timeline. This timeline is thoughtfully curated by the planner, client and beside the Wedding Photography team. As we have photographed an abundance of beautiful weddings, these images are photographed throughout the day naturally. The images that we will use a list for will include the formal portraits. Here we may reference guest names so everyone is feeling comfortable, confident, and excited for their portrait to be captured!

Lexi and Tyler’s Summer Studio Engagement Photo Shoot and Wedding Coming Soon at the New Jersey Park Chateau Wedding Venue
Lexi and Tyler are planning their wedding at New Jersey’s luxurious Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The Park Chateau is a stunning and premiere New Jersey Wedding venue. This venue offers 15-acres or pristinely manicured gardens, a private Chapel, extraordinary cocktail hour, and so much more. Not to mention, the newest addition to the property, is the Chateau Grande. Chateau Grande Hotel is a picture-perfect Hotel, perfect for guests staying out of town and that hotel block right on site and within walking distance from the Park Chateau. The Chateau Grande also offers stunning restaurant and event hosting at the pristine Orchard Park by chef David Burke. How unique!

Kevin and Alyssa hosted their beautiful New Jersey winter wedding at the prestigious Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Located between New York and Philadelphia, this venue is perfect for those traveling and from the city and to host your guests from out of town for your wedding weekend at the venue’s new addition to their property, the Chateau Grande. Park Chateau Estate and Gardens is one-of-a-kind. This property encompasses 15 acres of stunning vistas so close to Manhattan. Gardens with stunning bright floral decor, fountains, a picture-perfect Chapel, and creative cocktail hours, the Park Chateau is truly a gem in New Jersey. Let’s chat a bit about the Chateau Grande Hotel. Now this property, is one of their newest additions. Hotel, wedding and event venue, the Chateau Grande Hotel is steps away from Park Chateau and offers the perfect location for your rehearsal dinner to kick off the wedding weekend at the Orchard Park by fine chef, David Burke. In addition to her impeccable details, we adore the heartfelt moments of their day incorporating their best friends and family. From their joyful first look with the bridesmaids, father of the bride and groom, to those stunning garden portraits… Alyssa is glowing! Her gown is absolutely breathtaking. Becky and Connor’s Wedding Coming Soon at the New Jersey Private Farms in Sussex County
Becky and Connor’s engagement session was photographed by Michelle at the stunning private Tranquility Farms in Sussex County, New Jersey. Tranquility Farms is one of our personal favorite destinations for fresh, local produce! This third-generation, family-run business is set on 600 acres in the beautiful Sussex County. The farm offers an array of fresh vegetables, delicious homemade ice cream, a stunning Farm Market, and one of our favorites; pick your own flowers! We absolutely love their fresh, local produce here at Tranquility Farms! It is perfect for couples, families, and a great date-day to enjoy the outdoor beauty of their property in Sussex County with the fun hayrides, and more!
Becky and Connor’s Romantic Tranquility Farms Engagement Photos
Their engagement session was such a joy. From moments in the corn, sunflowers, and walking along the stunning and hidden paths that this beautiful Private Farm offers, there are so many favorites from Becky and Connor’s romantic engagement session. I am absolutely obsessed with the views from the sunflower field! So romantic. Becky and Connor styled their session to perfection. From their casual looks beginning with a walk along the stunning trail and overlooking the property. To a few moments near the corn, there are an abundance of joyful, candid photographs of this couple enjoying their engagement session and their adorable pup! We cannot get enough of this session! We made our way over to the sunflower fields and watched the sunset during our walk through the field. It does not get any more romantic! What a perfect session!
