When did you begin shooting events and weddings?
Michelle began shooting events in 2012 and began shooting weddings in 2014.
What is "hybrid" photography?
Hybrid Photography is a technique used by photographers to essentially unite film and digital photography using digital presets, high resolution scanning techniques, film photography and digital technology.
What is a photojournalistic photographer?
Photojournalism captures individuals organically. Images are truthful to their times, un-staged and capture “candid” moments of a particular subject matter that the photographer is concentrating on. Images are captured to comment and reminisce on moments in time between individuals.
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use both Canon and Nikon professional grade equipment.
Do you use flash or lighting equipment?
Yes! I use flash at all ceremonies and receptions. This will be determined on-location.
Do you work with an assistant or second shooter?
Michelle hires a second shooter for all private events with a guest list of over 50. It is in Michelle’s best interest to have full-coverage of your private event. It is in Michelle's best interest to have two views and perspectives of the event and the photographer can achieve these views while having coverage from a second shooter.
Michelle recommends at least 1 photographer/50 guests to capture the essence of the moment.
We offer heirloom hand crafted photo albums + parent albums (leather and linen options + customizations), album accessories, wedding guestbooks, fine art canvas prints, fine art wall portraits (ready to hang), small portraits, rush deliveries, digital media (digital galleries, digital negatives and high resolution prints).
What photography products do you offer?
The reveal and review (ordering session) is scheduled 4-6 weeks after our session. At this session, we will access your images and review our heirloom product collections. From there, we will place your product and print orders.
Average turnaround time is 8-10 weeks.
Rush orders are available on all products.
What is the standard turnaround time? How will I see my images after our session and preview your heirloom product line?
Michelle will e-mail you a link that includes the gallery for you to access your images!
Will I have access to my private gallery after the reveal and review (ordering session)?
When and how will I receive my product order?
If you choose to have your order shipped directly to your home, it will be dropped shipped to you and will require a signature.

If I purchase the high resolution digital negative images, can I share them to Facebook and other social media websites?

Do you travel for weddings?
20 miles are included in your portrait collection! Additional travel over 20 miles will be applied to your order with an industry standard of $0.60/mile.
Do you travel for portrait sessions?
Weddings need to be booked as soon as possible, at least 6 months in advance. I recommend inquiring about your date as earliest as possible to reserve your date.
For portrait sessions, about a month in advance works.
I love everything you have to offer and I want to book you! How long in advance of my date should I reserve your services?
Throughout the year, I do host some specials especially around the Holidays. Military families receive a 10% discount on products, but aside from those, we don’t offer discounts; however, we can customize a payment plan for you!
I'm working within a budget, do you offer discounts?
At the time of your booking, a 50% security deposit is due to reserve your wedding date. Payment plans are available if you are booking early. The remaining balance is due 1 month before your date and New Jersey state sales tax applies to your order.
At the time of your booking, a session fee is due to reserve your session and rain date with Michelle.
If you’re interested in a payment plan, just let us know and we’ll send it over. Easy peasy.
Do you offer payment plans? If so, what kind?
Every year I host two annual mini sessions (Fall and Holiday Mini Session) to celebrate the joy of the season with families. I do sometimes offer seasonal mini sessions.
